  An Elder Told Me.... Many To Be Disfellowshipped Soon...

  an elder told me the book is jehovah's latest provision to cleanse his organization.. he said soon all people that have drifted, inactives, and others baptized and not complying with the biblical mandates for a jw, will be visited and given an option to shape up or ship out.. he said that if the person refuses the help offered by the congregation they'll be notified of the date of disfellowshipping and given time to appeal the decision.. he was so happy stating that this way jehovah's organization was preparing for the final clean-up before armageddon.

  he sounded so convincing that it almost made perfect sense what he was saying.

  i got goose bumps listening to his reasoning.. dy

  % Increase in those Df'd for wickedness

  % Increase in those Df'd for drifting

  % Increase in those Df'd for fading

  % Increase in those Df'd for inactivity

  % Increase in those Df'd for meeting inattendance

  % Increase in those Df'd for low contributions

  % Increase in those Df'd for low hours

  % Increase in those Df'd for not marking the paragraphs at the watchtower study

  % Increase in those Df'd for not commenting at the watchtower study

  % Increase in those Df'd for thinking independently

  This may be the new way to 'get the numbers up'

  Michael Jackson at Memorial

  i just received an email that said mj attended the memorial in solvang last night.

  he attended with his mom and dad and also his son.

  this info was forwarded to me via 2 others but i saw the original email so i think it's probably true.

  Who will partake this year/tonight of the wine and bread?

  i remember being told if you partake of the emblems and not be of the anointed the bad things will happen you or at the very least christ will be real made at you.

  i have always believed the witness's to be presumptuous on their part of this issue to make such a statement, who are they to say who should and who should not.

  does not the bible/christ, say to do this always in remembrance of me, concerning his followers are we not his followers?

  In reading Jesus words I find no clear indication that all should not partake.

  This is year number two in which I and wifey will not go... but I just bot a couple of good wines and we might have a glass of that.

  Someone asked how old Steve was - I think he might be early 60's or so. No older than that. He served our circuit [and I actually considered him a nice guy and a friend at the time] in the late 80's - and I think he was maybe 45 at the time.

  I knew his dad too - didn't know he had been rich - you wouldn't have known it by his demeanor. Steve cried when he privately related the passing of his father by cancer.

  Some of the paint we throw on people is a little strong at times, don't you think? Not defending the WTS at all - they cost me 4 decades of my life - but Mark and Steve did try to do what they thought was right - many of us were right alongside them for decades.

  I would welcome him to my home for a meal if he showed up - but I hope he doesn't fart.

  Anyone know of Major newspapers that reported the UN debacle?

  i know about the guardian articles, and the un press release, ect.

  but did any major paper carry an article that i could see the archive to?

  i suspect that if such happened i would know about it already, but just in case i missed it.

  Yes min that is kind of what I meant - mainstream American papers that would carry weight here in this country. I don't know anything about the Guardian paper - is that a big one in UK? No offense intended just don't know.

  i receive mailings from them, and it looks like an interesting group.
